TIMELINE
COVID-19

The Challenge

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the CEO of an international energy company was able to travel to Japan and needed to find a suitable home as quickly as possible.

With limited time and the practical challenges of relocating during the pandemic, the priority was to secure a high-quality apartment while making the transition to life in Tokyo as smooth as possible.

Our Approach

We organized five property viewings over two to three days, focusing on apartments that matched the executive's requirements and expectations.

The search resulted in a luxury apartment in Nishi-Shinjuku, providing the executive with a comfortable home in one of Tokyo's central business districts.

But finding the apartment was only the beginning.

We also assisted with several practical aspects of settling in Japan, including:

  • Opening a Japanese bank account

  • Obtaining a Japanese driving licence

  • Completing procedures at the local ward office

  • Assistance with My Number registration and related administrative procedures

The Result

Within just a few days, the executive had secured a suitable home in Tokyo and could focus on his professional responsibilities rather than navigating the practical challenges of settling into Japan.

Finding the right home is only the first step. We help make the transition to Japan easier.
